Leading the Golden QiBall
Benefits:
Connects the upper body (small circuit) to the lower body (large circuit)
Opens up the hamstrings and engages the core muscles
Practice:
Visualize a blue tube coming out of the Qihai point (navel), loop it under the Hui Yin (pelvic floor) point and up to the Buihui Point (crown of head) then back down to the Qihai point.
Repeat 3 times.
Now lead the Golden Qi Ball out of the dan tian following the tube up the spine and down the front of the body, through the hips to the back and down the back of the legs.
Guide the ball to the front of your feet and up the front of the legs, through the hips and up the back and set the hand with palms facing floor as your head looks left and down towards your feet.
This is the first step in mixing the Jing (form), Qi (energy), and shen (spirit). Do this every day for 108 days and you will be ready for the next step in the Zen Wellness Program.
